🧰 Routine maintenance: every year, no excuses
La manutenzione ordinaria must be carried out every year, unless the manufacturer’s manual specifies different intervals.
This is established by D.M. 37/2008, il D.P.R. 74/2013 and UNI/CEI standards.
🔧 What is done during maintenance?

- Internal cleaning of the heat exchanger and burner;
- Check of fan, pressure switch, ignition, valves;
- Check of seals and possible leaks;
- Water pressure check and adjustments;
- Registrazione dell’intervento sul libretto di impianto.

🔍 Energy efficiency check (flue gas test): every 2 years
Separate from maintenance, this check verifies the energy performance e the boiler’s emissions.
In Tuscany, the Regolamento Regionale n. 17/R/2017 establishes that for gas boilers fino a 35 kW:
- 🔹 The first check is done after 4 years from installation;
- 🔹 Poi every 2 years, obbligatoriamente.
🔬 What does the flue gas test (RCEE) involve?
- Combustion flue gas analysis;
- Combustion efficiency measurement;
- Verification of correct flue draught;
- Completion of the Rapporto di Controllo di Efficienza Energetica (RCEE);
- Application of the bollino verde da 20 €;
- Submission of the report to the regional registry SIERT.
